Chick-Fil-A restaurants aren’t open on Sundays, so apparently they need serious alarm technology to thwart break-in attempts. Tonight, sirens wailed and the words “burglar, burglar” blared over and over from a loudspeaker at the restaurant.

A Decatur Police officer circled the building on foot, peering into windows before driving away in her patrol car. It was interesting, but eventually the alarm became so annoying I was forced to leave.
