Thank Jayboo, the weekend is nigh.

If you don’t know what you’re doing, I don’t know why you would ask me.

I used the power of the interwebs to determine what all the things are this weekend.

In no order of consequence:

Barbeque, Blues and Bluegrass Festival

What is it? It possibly involves barbeque and/or bluegrass music (You know, that thing with the banjos) and blues (that thing about depressed feels usually felt in the morning when you wake up).

Where is it? Oakhurst, in south Decatur.

When is it? Saturday,  4 p.m. to 10 p.m.

How much will this cost me? $15, but it will go to various do-gooder causes.

Why should I go? Fox Brothers will be there, and some other barbeque places not named Fox Brothers.

Will it kick ass? Substantial amounts of it.

Living Walls

What is it? A celebration of street art, also known as those damn kids that keep painting my building.

Where is it? All over the place.

When is it? Began Wednesday, lasts through Sunday.

How much will it cost me? Not a thing. But if you’re really cool and have money, make a donation to keep the festival going.

Will it kick ass? Definitely.

That’s all the things. You’re welcome.
