Hot, sunny weather greeted participants at September’s edition of Friends of Decatur Cemetery 2nd Sunday Strolls. Around a dozen people, many clad in wide-brimmed hats toured the final resting place of so many who made an impact on the history of Decatur, Dekalb County, and the State of Georgia.
Next month’s Sunday Stroll is the last for the 2013 season. It is slated for October 13th at 2:30 p.m. at the gazebo in the old section of the Decatur Cemetery. More information can be found at the Friends of Decatur Cemetery Facebook Page.
