wildheaven_odetomercyWild Heaven Craft Beers announced Friday, Oct. 4, that the company will soon begin construction on an 8,000 square foot brewery in Avondale Estates.

“This exciting news comes on the heels of reaching two key milestones: completion of full funding for our construction and the transition of ‘Consulting’ Brewmaster Eric Johnson’s daily focus from Trappeze, the globally renowned Athens beer bar he founded in 2007, to his role as Wild Heaven’s brewmaster,” the company announced on its blog.

The brewery will have local roots, the company says.

“Our 8000 square foot facility will be outfitted with a 30-barrel brewing system that has quite a history in Georgia brewing, having served both SweetWater Brewing and Terrapin Brewing.”
