Decatur family will be featured in ABC’s “The Great Christmas Light Fight”

Christmas is a time for giving and reflection. One local family will do all that and pick a fight.

Tony and Katie Paradowski decked out their home out in lights in hopes of winning a $50,000 prize.

The home, located at 1428 Oak Grove Dr, Decatur, GA 30033, will be featured on ABC’s The Great Christmas Light Fight tonight, December 23, at 9 p.m. UPDATE: As a reader pointed out, this show is on ABC and will get bumped for Monday Night Football. (Falcons v. 49ers) The Great Christmas Light Fight will air at 1:30 a.m. Tuesday, according to the TV schedule posted by WSB-TV. I really don’t see the point in bumping this show for the Falcons game. WSB needs to broadcast a competition that Atlanta has a reasonable chance of winning.

The Great Christmas Light Fight is weekly show where families put on their best light display. The Paradowskis have been collecting money for The ALS Association as part of their annual tradition, which began 2010, and have raised $2,800.

Because of their participation in the show, the Paradowskis have to be sparse on the details of their current show. But here’s the display from 2012.

Neat, huh?
