There’s yet another big-budget feature set to film right here in the Atlanta Metro area.

“Ant-Man,” starring Paul Rudd and Michael Douglas, will be filming in Georgia later this spring.

According to industry news website KFTV, the movie’s producers ditched plans to film in the UK and are instead filming at Pinewood Atlanta Studios in Fayetteville, which is still under construction.

KFTV reports the filming will begin in May and will be the first major motion picture filmed at Pinewood Atlanta.

And who the hell is Ant-Man, you ask? He’s a hero published by Marvel Comics who has the ability to shrink himself to the size of an ant. He provides some comic relief as a member of the Avengers superhero team. Over the years he’s had several alter-egos. Rudd will play Ant-Man alter-ego Scott Lang and Douglas will play alter-ego Hank Pym.

According to Internet Movie Database, the movie is set for a 2015 release date.
