After a lengthy delay due to winter weather conditions, DeKalb County will resume trash collection tomorrow, Feb. 14.

According to a release from the county, the animal crematory, Seminole Compost Facility and customer service will be open Friday, Saturday and Sunday, as will all transfer stations and the Seminole Landfill.

“Commercial collection normally scheduled for Tuesday will be collected on Friday, Feb. 14,” the county says. “Wednesday and Thursday commercial collection will be collected on Saturday, Feb. 15; Friday and Saturday commercial collection will be collected on Sunday, Feb. 16. There will be no Single Stream or Yard Trimmings Recycling collections Friday, Saturday and Sunday this week.”

The service will stop again on Feb. 17, however, because county offices will be closed for Presidents Day.

“Sanitation will resume residential collection on Feb. 18 based on the holiday schedule,” the county says.
