A few weeks ago, a reporter from CNN dropped by the Weave House to do a story about re:loom. I currently serve on the board of directors of re:loom’s parent organization, the Initiative for Affordable Housing and Decaturish.com provides free publicity for this organization.

This is a wonderful nonprofit that helps homeless adults in transitional housing learn important skills while working at a full time job, with benefits. re:loom weavers take recycled materials, like your old tee-shirts, and turn them into beautiful works of art like handbags and rugs. The proceeds from every sale made at the re:loom store go directly back into the program so it can continue its mission.
