Brooke Lane, spokesperson for The Bishop restaurant, said the opening of The Bishop will be delayed by one week.

“Due to a delay in construction, The Bishop will now open Tuesday, May 13,” Lane said. “They will begin taking reservations at that time. Thank you so much for your understanding, flexibility and ongoing support of The Bishop.”

The restaurant had been set to open May 6.

Luellen Marshall, owner, is a resident of Avondale Estates. Marshall has more than 20 years experience in the restaurant business and hospitality industry. She’s worked at Village Tavern, TGI Fridays International and Ruth’s Chris.
