Emory University received a $1.2 million grant to “re-envision the chemistry curriculum” at the school.

The grant comes via the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, the university announced via press release. It’s the seventh HHMI grant the university has received.

Pat Marsteller, director of the Emory College Center for Science Education, said via press release, “We have leveraged previous HHMI support with more than $17 million in external grants and approximately $7 million in institutional support.”

Emory reports it was among 170 research universities that applied for the grant money.
