The weakend? OK yeah right. After a week I had, I needed this earlier.
I had to get up early this morning (6:15 AM is not early compared to my days at DHS but in retirement, it’s real damn early!) to respond to a business call so I missed breakfast with the I stopped at Decatur’s MickieDs to order a Southern Chicken Biscuit and Hashbrown. I was asked, “Would you like two biscuits for $3?” “Hell Yeah” I responded and paid around $4.25 for the meal. When I arrived at the office, I discovered, to my manly delight that I had two Southern Chicken Biscuits AND TWO HASHBROWNS!!!! To those of you who think a man like me would snarf down all four items, Ah Contrair! I offered the extra Hash Brown to my co-worker Alex, who quickly sent the extra MickieD-light to its doom.
What a great start to the weekend!
