Tomorrow’s News Today reports that Fresh To Order will take over the “cursed” space at East Ponce de Leon and Church in Decatur, formerly the site of Hola Mexican Cantina.

“According to well placed sources, Atlanta-based Fresh To Order (aka F2o) has signed a lease to open a new restaurant in Decatur,” Tomorrow’s News Today reports. “The growing ‘fine-fresh’ restaurant plans to open later this year in place of the shuttered Hola! Mexican Cantina.”

The space hasn’t had much luck with restaurants over the years.

Prior to becoming Hola, it was the location of the Atlanta Bread Company and the Decatur Diner.

Nice. The one in Midtown is really good so maybe this one will stick around in this space for a while.

Overpriced. Decaturites have better taste than that. Won’t last long. Maybe that space just shouldn’t be a restaurant.

The problem with Hola wasn’t the building. Nor was it the food. The reason that place died was the absurd prices. I took my 9 year old daughter there and it was $32 for the both of us.

    For Mexican food.
