Avondale Estates closed a portion of Clarendon Avenue today and will close a portion on Monday for filming of a TV show for the USA Network.

The show is called “Complications” and will premiere in 2015. According to Internet Movie Database, “The 10-episode original series from ‘Burn Notice’ creator Matt Nix is set to premiere in 2015, and centers around John Ellison (O’Mara), a disillusioned suburban ER doctor who finds his existence transformed when he intervenes in a drive-by shooting, saving a young boy’s life and killing one of his attackers.” To read the full synopsis, click here.

Today, filming required “intermittent” closure of the Clarendon Avenue from Clarendon Place to Wiltshire Drive. On Monday, the road will be closed from 7 am to noon, according to an announcement from the city.

“Traffic will be rerouted during closures and off-duty police officers will assist with traffic control,” the announcement says.
