If you’re thinking about using GA 400 Thursday evening, you might want to think again.

The Georgia Department of Transportation says that utility work will result in multiple lane closures on Georgia 400 near the Northridge Road interchange on Thursday, Sept. 18.

“A utility relocation on the new Northridge Road bridge being built over Georgia (State Route) 400 will require two lanes being closed in both the north and south bound directions Thursday overnight,” GDOT says. “Delays are likely and motorists are advised to slow down, be alert and exercise caution in the area.”

The closures will be in effect from 10 pm Thursday until 5 am Friday, weather permitting, GDOT says.
