There were two big events in Decatur this weekend, both of which benefited charities.

The Madison Avenue Soapbox Derby raises money to help needy children in Decatur. The fourth annual Oakhurst derby race was held Saturday, Sept. 27.

SkaterAid, an event that raises money for families affected by pediatric cancer, was held in Decatur on Sunday, Sept. 28. Decaturish reader and local photographer Travis Hudgons sent us this video.
