Work continues on the reconstruction of the Georgia 400 interchange with Northridge Road, which means the lane closures will continue, too.

The Georgia Department of Transportation is warning travelers to expect a closure every night this week from 10 pm to 5 am, Monday through Thursday, and continuously from 10 pm Friday to 5 am Nov. 3.

“Weather permitting, two of four northbound and two of four southbound lanes will be closed simultaneously for construction of a new bridge,” GDOT says.

The Transportation Department advises drivers to slow down and proceed with caution when driving through this area, and consider alternate routes if possible.
