City Schools of Decatur is still gathering community input for a master plan to renovate and expand Renfroe Middle and Decatur High.

CSD had planned to hold the meetings at the end of September, but postponed them after the design team asked for more time to refine its plans.

There will be a presentation of Renfroe Master Plan and Phase 1 concepts on Thursday, Oct. 16, at 6:30 pm in the Middle School library. Renfroe is located at 220 W College Ave, Decatur, GA 30030.

“City Schools of Decatur invites the community to review the needed capital improvements to accommodate the growing student population at Renfroe Middle School,” a message from CSD says.

CSD borrowed $18 million in certificates of participation money, referred to as COPS, to pay for the projects at Decatur High and Renfroe Middle. The School Board recently awarded more than $1 million in contracts for these projects.
