Brookhaven delays CHOA, Executive Park annexations

Reporter Newspapers says the Brookhaven City Council has again delayed annexing Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and Executive Park into its city limits.

Council members voted to defer the matter at their Dec. 2 meeting, saying more time is needed to create service agreements related to the potential annexation. To read the full story, click here.

This is the second time the Brookhaven City Council has delayed a final vote on the CHOA-Executive Park annexation. Commissioners deferred a vote on Nov. 24, citing a need for more due diligence.

That property is also in a map for a proposed new city of LaVista Hills and proposed annexation map that would bring the Druid Hills and north Druid Hills communities into the City of Atlanta.
