DeKalb Police have released the names of two men found shot to death in a residence at 2030 Barberrie Lane south of the East Lake Golf Course.

Inside they found the bodies of James Jordan, 26, and Kalif Negasi, 20.

“No forced entry to the residence was evident,” the Police Department said in a statement.

East Lake Terrace? Why single out a street over a mile away? Did you mean to title this East Lake Golf Club?

    • The map says East Lake, but others are claiming it is closer to East Lake Terrace. My conclusion is it must be some sort of no man’s land, because no one can seem to generally agree on what specific area it is. If you have a better designation and convincing argument in support of it, please let me know. I’m curious myself.

OK.. Just realized there is an East Lake Terrace neighborhood. I was only familiar with the street (E Lake Ter SE) which didn’t make sense based on the location of the murders.

It is between 2nd Ave and Parker just south of Glenwood Ave.

The shooting happened just before 8pm that night. But no one that was there when it happened had the decency to call the cops until an hour after they were both shot.
