DeKalb Police seek suspect in Family Dollar robbery

Detectives in DeKalb County are asking for help finding a man that allegedly robbed a Family Dollar store at 2500 Snapfinger Road in greater Decatur.

The incident happened on Jan. 19 at 9:30 am.

“The suspect entered the location, brandished a black semi-automatic handgun and demanded money from the registers and safe,” the bulletin from DeKalb Police officials says. “He then fled the location on foot.  He should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to contact Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-8477(TIPS).  You may be eligible for up to a $2,000 reward.”
