Expect a light roadwork schedule this weekend, the Georgia Department of Transportation says.

“Georgia Department of Transportation will limit interstate lane closures from 10 pm, Friday, April 10, until 5 am, Monday, April 13,” the announcement from GDOT says. “To accommodate Braves Baseball opening weekend traffic, lane closures will not be allowed on surface streets in the vicinity of Turner Field in Atlanta during this period.”

Here is the project list from GDOT:

– Demolition will require one lane closure on SR 10/ Freedom Parkway between Jackson Street and Boulevard continuously from 9 pm, Friday until 5 am, Monday;

– One lane will close on SR 280/South Cobb Drive between Austell Rod and I-285 and one lane on Austell Road starting from SR 280/South Cobb Drive to the Fulton County Line continuously from 9 pm, Saturday until 5 am, Monday for resurfacing;

– On SR 154/ Memorial Drive, one lane will close between Moreland Avenue and Wilkinson Drive and one lane will close on SR 154/ Memorial Drive between East Lake Drive and Candler Road both closures are from 9 am, until 3 pm, Saturday; and finally

– Paving will require various lane closures on SR 3/US 41/Cobb Parkway from Northgate Drive to Paces Mill Road continuously from 7 pm, Friday until 9 am, Sunday.
