DeKalb County’s interim chief executive officer is the target of a FBI probe, according to WSB-TV.

The TV station reports that CEO Lee May is being investigated for work performed at his house in 2010 after sewage overflowed into his home. May was a commissioner at the time and was later appointed to replace suspended CEO Burrell Ellis after Ellis was himself indicted on corruption charges.

According to WSB-TV, taxpayer money covered the cost of the repairs at May’s home. For the full story, click here.

And the beat goes on. If May was not smart enough to know what was happening, why, oh why is he DeKalb’s CEO? I’m glad the FBI is now involved. I just hope this doesn’t get swept under the rug.

Not surprised. Love the “I was a victim” explanation. Perfect for the Dekalb Strong crowd. Where is the outrage? We get what we deserve – exactly.

DeKalb Strong just loves this creator of “Pothole Palooza”……using $5 Million in park bond money to fill pot holes!
