The sudden resignation of Avondale Estates’ City Clerk has the city searching for a replacement.

Avondale Estates has sent out a job advertisement for its vacant city clerk’s job. The listing published on the Government Local Government Access Marketplace says the city is looking for someone with three years of related experience. The city prefers someone who holds a bachelor’s degree  inbusiness management, records management, public administration or related field. The city also wants someone who can get a Georgia Municipal Clerk’s Certification within three years.

The salary range is $36,707 – $58,731.
