The Decatur High varsity girls and boys soccer teams won their games this weekend, and now both are in the AAA final four.

Michael Harbin, father of boys’ coach David Harbin, said the boys beat Dawson County High School 2-1 on Saturday in front of a large home crowd at the Decatur High stadium. The girls team played in Savannah on Friday, and beat Savannah Arts 2-1.

“Both boys and girls will play in the semi-finals,” Harbin said via email. “Girls (play) on Tuesday at Westminster. Boys on Wednesday at Calhoun.”

We’ll post more information about this week’s games when it becomes available.

The two teams have mirrored each other. Last week, both crushed their first-round playoff opponents, triggering “the mercy rule” to end the games early before the scores got out of hand.
