State Sen. Elena Parent, D-SD42, will recap the 2015 Legislative session this Thursday, May 14, at a town hall meeting.

The event will be held at Drew Charter School in East Lake, located at 300 East Lake Boulevard Atlanta, GA 30317.

It begins at 6:30 pm and ends at 8 pm.

“The 2015 Session of the General Assembly ended in early April,” Parent said in her event announcement. “I was honored to have the opportunity to represent you at the Capitol. Now, the Governor is busy signing the bills the General Assembly passed. I want to give you a full report regarding the good, the bad, and the ugly legislation we passed.”

Parent and other state reps spent the last days of the session dealing with the push from some DeKalb County residents to form new cities and for existing cities to annex more territory into their borders.
