Decatur High School’s own Sydney Rhame is performing tonight at Eddie’s Attic to raise funds for the DHS Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA).

The 16-year-old junior will be headlining Eddie’s Attic for the fifth time. Nashville singer-songwriter Keelan Donovan is opening the show.

If you aren’t familiar with Rhame, check out Decaturish’s review of her work. The young singer “has already spent over half her life writing songs and performing before more than 200 audiences across the U.S.,” as the announcement of tonight’s concert explains.

The doors open at 6:30 p.m., and tickets are $12 there, or $8 if you get them in advance. And Sydney’s mother, Julie Rhame, a member of the City Schools of Decatur Board of Education, promised the show won’t go too late since it’s a school night. She also said families can grab dinner at the show. Tables for four are $40.

Julie Rhame also promised some secret special guests will be joining Sydney on stage.
