The City of Decatur said crews from Spitfire Productions will be shooting an independent film in the city on Friday, June 26.

“The project will film a few quick scenes in locations including E. Howard, E. Maple Street, and N. Candler Street. Decatur Police will be present and we anticipate intermittent traffic control for a brief time during the project,” the city says. “All production is anticipated to be complete by 1 p.m. today (June 26).”

Decatur Special Events Coordinator Katie Abel says the film is titled “Offer and Compromise.”

Earlier this month, the city issued permits for a Yellow Pages commercial and an AT&T commercial.
