The Wylde Center is hosting its annual Beer Garden Fundraiser at Oakhurst Garden this Saturday, June 27.

The event is taking place at Oakhurst Garden on 435 Oakview Road in Decatur. It raises money for the non-profit Wylde Center and includes a silent auction, food, live music, and of course, beer.

The Wylde Center website says there will be local brews from Ale Yeah!, Blue Tarp Brewing, Orpheus, Red Hare, Terrapin, Three Taverns, Treehorn Cider, Twain’s, and Wild Heaven Craft Beers. Attendees will receive a commemorative Wylde Center pint glass.

Tickets are $40 in advance and $50 at the door, according to a press release. VIP tickets, which have already sold out, include signature drinks by Paul Calvert of Paper Plane and Greg Best, appetizers from Pine Street Market and Sapori di Napoli, and desserts by Cakes & Ale.

Silent auction items include vacation getaways, restaurant gift certificates, and spa packages, according to the release.

It also notes, “The menu will include tastings from a number of restaurants including Farm Burger, Pop Stars, Steinbeck’s, Calle Latina, Ted’s Montana Grill and Revolution Doughnuts.”

Live music will be provided by The Dammages with special guests The Benders.

You have to be 21 years old to attend the fundraiser. The fundraiser starts at 5:30 p.m.

We received updated information on the band performing.
