If you’ve ever wanted to know the cooking secrets behind Souper Jenny, now’s your chance.

Souper Jenny executive chef Jessica Hanners will present a Market to Table cooking class at Souper Jenny in Decatur on Wednesday, July 15.

After a glass of wine, Hanners will take the group to the Decatur Farmers Market to pick out produce, according to Be Active Decatur. The group will return to Souper Jenny, “where Chef Jessica will cook for the group using her market purchases while sharing her insights on how to shop local, what produce to buy in this season and how to use what you’ve purchased in recipes for the home!”

The class costs $60 and includes dinner, wine, and desserts. There is also the chance to win cookbooks.

Be Active Decatur says to make a reservation, call the store at 404-378-1500, or register online at www.souperjennyatl.com and click “SHOP” on the selection menu.
