The city of Avondale Estates wants feedback on the redesign of its website.

The city has hired web development firm CivicPlus to overhaul Avondale’s home on the web. An image attached in a city email shows what the new website will look like.

The city said it wants to hear comments on the design itself. “This is a non-interactive JPEG – the image is only meant to convey the general look of the site. The text on the white background and in the site footer is placeholder text and will be updated with City content in the next development phase, prior to launch,” the email said.

The email also noted, “The final website will feature responsive design (optimal viewing across devices, from desktop computers to mobile phones), be user friendly and easy to navigate, and foster better and more frequent communication between government officials and the community.”

Here is Avondale Estates’ current website for comparison.
