A design lab is launching with a high-tech kickoff in Decatur.

Translucent Reflections is holding a launch party on Sunday, August 30, from 3 to 5 p.m at CORE Dance Studio on the Square.

The Decatur city blog shared the invitation, which says the event is free and for all ages.

Facebook invitation to the event says, “viewers will have the chance to explore a variety of exhibits including Robotics, Motion Tracking, 2D and 3D Projection Mapping all utilizing elements that can be purchased at a low-cost, providing high-end results. There will be live DJs spinning some of my favorites (Soca, House, and 80s).”

It adds, “At the end of the exhibitions, there will a be a video shoot featuring House Dancers of Atlanta (HDA) so please stick around for the fun and dancing.”

Translucent Reflections Design Labs describes itself as being “comprised of crafters, designers, techies, and creative visionaries motivated in refining their creative skills, working for brands and non-profits with social change and purpose driven initiatives.”
