David Lewicki, co-pastor of North Decatur Presbyterian, says a movie starring Jennifer Garner and Queen Latifah will be filming at the church on Aug. 6, Aug. 7 and Aug. 10.

He said the filming for “Miracles from Heaven” will likely create traffic delays at the intersection of North Decatur Road, Medlock Road, and Scott Boulevard.

“Trucks and equipment will be parked around the church during those days,” he said. “We apologize for any inconvenience this causes to those of you who are just trying to get to/from work and school each day. I hope the headaches will be minimal.”

According to the plot synopsis from Internet Movie Database, “Miracles from Heaven” is about, “A young girl suffering from a rare digestive disorder (who) finds herself miraculously cured after surviving a terrible accident.”
