Tickets on sale for annual Decatur’s Dinner Party
Decatur’s talented restaurant chefs will be putting their skills on display for a good cause.
The third annual Decatur’s Dinner Party is scheduled for Saturday, September 19 in the historic Decatur Cemetery from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m.
The multi-course meal will feature food from restaurants like Revival, Cakes & Ale, and Kimball House, according to a press release.
The fresh produce will come from farmers with the Global Growers Network. The event will benefit Global Growers Network, which the press release describes as “a nonprofit organization that creates opportunities in sustainable agriculture by growing good food, training farmers, and providing economic opportunities.”

The press release explains, “Global Growers is well-known for their two Decatur urban agriculture projects – Decatur’s Kitchen Garden and Umurima (the Burundi Women’s Farm) – where local families who came to Georgia as refugees grow thousands of pounds of fresh food each season.”
Tickets are $150 each and can be purchased at www.globalgrowers.org.
