Wylde Center to host s’mores and storytelling events
The Wylde Center is hosting the family-friendly S’mores for All in the garden three times this fall.
“Atlanta families are invited to take a break from the business of fall school schedules, football games and holiday preparations to spend an enjoyable evening making and eating s’mores in three of the city’s tranquil greenspaces,” a press release said.
Families will be able to enjoy s’mores and storytelling for free from 5 until 7 p.m. on these dates:
• October 17 – Sugar Creek Garden, 415 East Lake Drive, Decatur, GA 30030 (behind Oakhurst Presbyterian Church)
• October 24 – Oakhurst Garden, 435 Oakview Road, Decatur, GA 30030
• November 14 – Hawk Hollow, 2304 1st Ave., Atlanta, GA 30317
“This is a casual evening designed for children and adults to enjoy the garden and indulge in some old-fashioned fun,” Stephanie Van Parys, executive director of the Wylde Center is quoted as saying.

Christy Foelsch, a professional storyteller from Kids Go Wild, will be spinning yarns.
The Wylde Center is also inviting attendees to bring a musical instrument to play.
The center is requesting adult volunteers to help out each of the three nights. Those who want to volunteer can email [email protected] to sign up.
