Biz Bits: Squash Blossom online store; Solstice and Pace23 team up

Squash Blossom Boutique in downtown Decatur has launched its online store. In an Instagram announcement, the clothing store said customers can now “shop our styles online from anywhere in the world.” It notes online inventory is limited, but new styles are being added daily. The store gave a shout out to its first online purchase which came from the UK.
Two Decatur exercise studios are teaming up. In a Facebook announcement, Solstice Urban Retreat, a yoga, barre, and pilates studio said it is forming a partnership with the newly-opened spin and TRX studio Pace23. The announcement said to “stay tuned for more details.”
Kirkwood’s Le Petit Marche is open again after a major plumbing issue underground forced the restaurant to close on Saturday. In better news, owner Marchet Sparks may be in an upcoming issue of Ebony Magazine. She posted on Tuesday that the magazine had called her.
The Decatur Business Association is hosting its annual golf tournament Monday, November 2. The event raises funds for DBA-hosted events like Concerts on the Square and Blue Sky Concerts. It takes place at the Southland Golf Club with sign-in starting at 7:30 a.m. Registration is $100 per player.
Decatur’s Maculele Capoeira group will raise funds for Camp Sunshine, an organization that supports young children with cancer, this Friday from 6:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m in the Decatur Square. Brazilian Capoeira is a type of martial art.
