I write this letter to voice my strong support of Tasha White for the City Schools of Decatur School Board.
Tasha has the passion and commitment to serve all the students, teachers, administrative staff, and parents within our school district. She operates from a desire to include all diverse perspectives in decision making. She is a dynamic leader who operates from a servant leader mentality.
Our Decatur school system has to face significant challenges in the days ahead. I cannot think of anyone better to help us navigate the complicated decisions that will need to be made to address these challenges.
I especially appreciate her value for diversity and her hope for a bright future for our school system. I encourage others who are interested in a thriving school system that serves the needs of all students, to vote for Tasha White on Nov. 3 for the Decatur School Board.
