Decatur Police and the Decatur Library are teaming up to show senior citizens how to avoid becoming victims of scams.

A presentation is set for Wednesday, October 7 at 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the Decatur Library on 215 Sycamore Street.

An announcement from Lt. Jennifer Ross, posted on The Decatur Minute, said “The presentation will provide information on common methods and scams suspects use to obtain personal information and take advantage of you and include an overview of current fraud trends reported in Decatur.”

If you have questions about the event, you can contact Lt. Ross at [email protected] or 678-553-6613.
