Oakhurst pulled of a doozy of a festival on Sunday. The first Oakhurst Porchfest saw over 100 artists perform on front porches throughout the neighborhood as people strolled and biked through the streets to listen to the musicians play.

wish you had gotten some photos of the Decatur First UMC handbells performance

    • It was a huge event. We tried to hit up as many of the porches as we could. Given how it turned out, looks like we’ll have another crack at it next year.

It was a great event but too much over too short a time – would rather see it split up over 2-3 days to be able to see more performers, or at least make it a whole day instead of 4 hours.
