Tomorrow’s News Today is reporting that Phoenix-based Sprouts Farmers Market will be the organic grocery store to anchor Fuqua’s Decatur Crossing at Scott Boulevard and North Decatur Road.

The news site attributes a “source familiar with the plans.”

Tomorrow’s News Today says, “Since entering the metro Atlanta market in 2014, Sprouts has opened eight stores with at least four more coming soon. New Sprouts locations are scheduled to open in East Cobb and ‘Morningside Heights’ early next year.” You can read the full story here.

The Atlanta Business Chronicle mentioned in a May article that Whole Foods had been scouting the Decatur area.

Fuqua Development is in the process of clearing the Decatur Crossing site in preparation for Phase I of the project.

Walmart and LA Fitness in Suburban Plaza, a development across the street from Decatur Crossing, are set to open for business soon, making it a busy retail area.
