DeKalb County Commissioner Sharon Barnes Sutton is inviting the public to a community conversation on Dec. 3.

It begins at 6:30 p.m. and will be held at Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church in Stone Mountain, located at 5140 Memorial Drive.

According to the meeting announcement, “Residents of District 4 will have a chance to learn more about DeKalb County and the options for better community engagement.”

The commissioner has invited representatives from the county’s Planning and Sustainability, Police, Code Enforcement and Watershed Management departments.

Sutton recently scored a legal victory when a judge ruled that Sutton would not have to face the county’s Ethics Board over charges related to her use of a county-issued purchasing card.
