The Saint Thomas More school will be hosting a parade in honor of veterans this Friday, Nov. 6, starting at 10 a.m.

The parade will travel down West Trinity Place to Water street and up Ponce. It ends in front of the church and will be followed by a small ceremony.

“A representative from the Veteran’s Empowerment Organization will speak,” Saint Thomas More parent Sonja Harrast said. “We have invited Decatur Fire and Police staff who are veterans as well.”

Veterans Day is Wednesday, Nov. 11.
