Winnona Park Elementary notified parents on Thursday, Nov. 19, that students spent most of their day at Renfroe Middle School due to a “serious plumbing problem.”

“Dear Families,” the email says. “All of the students have arrived safely at Renfroe Middle School. Students were moved due to a serious plumbing problem at Winnona. Winnona Park students will eat lunch and complete their instructional day at Renfroe Middle School. Students will return to Winnona Park for regular dismissal.”

CSD spokesperson Courtney Burnett said, “It is a sewer line issue therefore all bathrooms in the building were off limits.”
