Biz Bits: Atlanta best city for web developers, Mama’s Bath + Body is hiring

In today’s Biz Bits, some hiring news and Atlanta’s gaining a reputation as a place for web developers.

Atlanta has been named the best city in the U.S. for web developersAn Austin, TX-based company called SpareFoot Blog said it teamed up with the job site Indeed to rank the top 10 metro areas for web developers. Atlanta beat out New York, Chicago, and DC. The ranking looked at job availability, average annual salary, median home price, and median annual rent.

Mama Bath + Body is hiring at both its Avondale Estates store and its Krog Street Market location. The business posted on Instagram, “We are growing fast and looking for awesome people in the Atlanta area to get in on the ground floor and grow with us! Go to our website for job opportunities at our company.”

A national mattress retailer is going to take over the Chevron gas station on Scott Boulevard near the new Suburban Plaza and Decatur Crossing projects. That’s according to Tomorrow’s News Today. The site reports, “Mark Light of Lighthouse Realty Advisors plans to build a 6,000 square foot, multi-tenant center with 36 parking spaces.”

Krog Street Market got a mention in “Sky Magazine.” The publication said Krog Street Market has become “one of Atlanta’s hottest dining destinations.”
