Atlanta Magazine has ranked the 50 best restaurants in Atlanta, and Decatur’s Cakes & Ale was deemed the best overall in the metro area.

The list also names several other Decatur-area restaurants.

Of Cakes & Ale, Atlanta Magazine says, “Any number of restaurants on this list could have opened in another city but not Cakes & Ale, which effortlessly captures the scope of metro Atlanta’s complex culinary makeup.”
