DeKalb County’s Department of Watershed Management (DWM) will host two community meetings ahead of a major sewer assessment and rehabilitation program.

The first meeting will take place Thursday, Feb. 11 at 6:30 p.m. at 4522 Flat Shoals Parkway, Decatur, GA 30034. The second meeting will take place Thursday, Feb. 18 at 6:30 p.m. at 4362 Peachtree Road, Brookhaven, GA 30319.

A press release from the county said the DWM “has launched a comprehensive, multi-phased Priority Area Sewer Assessment and Rehabilitation Program (PASARP) to assess and rehabilitate sewer lines throughout the county. These activities will encompass about one-third of DeKalb’s sewer lines. Smoke testing and other assessment activities will be conducted by contractors through January 2018.”

DeKalb County Department of Watershed Management to Host Two Community Meetings

DECATUR, Ga. – The DeKalb County Department of Watershed Management (DWM) has launched a comprehensive, multi-phased Priority Area Sewer Assessment and Rehabilitation Program (PASARP) to assess and rehabilitate sewer lines throughout the county.

These activities will encompass about one-third of DeKalb’s sewer lines.  Smoke testing and other assessment activities will be conducted by contractors through January 2018.

DWM will host two more informational community meetings in February focused on PASARP activities scheduled to take place in area neighborhoods.

The informational community meetings are free and local participation is encouraged.  Scheduled meeting dates and locations include:
