DeKalb holding Saturday early voting for presidential primary

Voters who want to cast their ballot early in the March 1 presidential primary elections will have a chance to do so on Saturday, Feb. 20.

The county is holding early voting from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at three locations.

“There will also be additional early voting locations next week, Monday through Friday,” the press release from DeKalb County says. “Please note that there will be no Sunday voting, no voting on Saturday, February 27, and no voting on Monday, February 29. Voters must go to their assigned precincts on Election Day, March 1.”

People who wish to vote will need to bring one of the following forms of identification, according to the Georgia Secretary of State’s office:

– Any valid state or federal government issued photo ID, including a free ID Card issued by your county registrar’s office or the Georgia Department of Driver Services (DDS)

– A Georgia Driver’s License, even if expired

– Valid employee photo ID from any branch, department, agency, or entity of the U.S. Government, Georgia, or any county, municipality, board, authority or other entity of this state

– Valid U.S. passport ID

– Valid U.S. military photo ID

– Valid tribal photo ID
