More work is planned for I-285 and I-75 this weekend, as well as numerous other roads around the metro Atlanta area.

Lane closures will result in delays, the Georgia Department of  Transportation says.

Here is the full list of projects planned for the weekend, provided by GDOT:

Northwest Corridor Express Lanes

– On I-285, traffic traveling on the eastbound collector-distributer lane to I-75 northbound will be directed to take the I-75 southbound exit ramp (Exit 20) to Cumberland Boulevard. Traffic will then be directed to turn left on Cumberland Boulevard followed by another left to then enter I-75 Northbound via the ramp from Cumberland Boulevard. The I-75 southbound ramp to I-285 eastbound Collector Lanes (Exit-259A) will also be closed, and traffic will need to take the primary ramp (Exit-259) to access I-285 eastbound from I-75 southbound. The detour will take place nightly from 9 p.m., Friday until 5 a.m., Monday.

– On SR 280/Delk Road, one lane will close from 9 p.m., Friday until 5 a.m., Saturday.

– On I-75, one northbound lane will close between Windy Hill Road and SR 280/ Delk Road from 9 p.m., Friday until 5 a.m., Saturday.

– On I-75, one southbound lane will close on the exit ramp to I-285 eastbound from 10 p.m., Sunday until 5 a.m., Monday.

– On I-75, one northbound lane will close between Canton Road and Barrett Parkway from 9 p.m., Sunday until 5 a.m., Monday.

South Metro Express Lanes

– On I-75, one northbound lane and shoulder will close between Jodeco Road/FlippenRoad and Hudson Bridge Road/Eagles Landing Parkway from 9 p.m., Thursday until 5 a.m., Friday.

– On I-75, one northbound and one southbound lane will close between the I-675 interchange and Mt. Zion Boulevard continuously from 9 p.m., Friday until 5 a.m.,Monday for the northbound lane and from 9 p.m., Friday until 7 a.m., Monday for the southbound lane.

I-75/I-85

– The Pryor Street HOV entrance ramp to I-75/I-85 southbound will close from 6:30 a.m. until 4 p.m., Saturday.

– The SR 154/Memorial Drive HOV exit ramp from I-75/I-85 northbound will close from 6:30 a.m. until 4 p.m., Saturday and from 6 a.m., until 2 p.m., Sunday.

– A traffic pace will take place on all northbound lanes between 166/Langford Parkway and Piedmont Avenue from 6 a.m., until 2 p.m., Sunday. The traffic pace will require motorists to drive 5 mph -10 mph to allow contractors to work across the interstate lanes.

– A traffic pace will also take place on all northbound lanes between SR 166/Langford Parkway and 10th/14th Street from 2 p.m., until 4 p.m., Sunday. The traffic pace will require motorists to drive 5 mph -10 mph to allow contractors to work across the interstate lanes.

I-75

– Two northbound lanes will close between SR 280/Delk Road and SR 120 Loop/ South Marietta Parkway from 7 p.m., Sunday until 5 a.m., Monday.

– Rolling closures will take place on the northbound and southbound lanes between SR 138 and Cumberland Boulevard. The closures will take place from 9 p.m., Friday until 5 a.m., Sunday to allow crews to install road pavement markers (RPM). Installing RPMs on the interstate is a slow moving operation; therefore, Georgia DOT contractors will subsequently slow down traffic traveling on I-75 to complete their work. Motorists should expect multiple lane closures at a time and slow down while driving through the work zone.
