Report: Whole Foods may be headed to Decatur

The Atlanta Business Chronicle reports that Whole Foods is eyeing a location at North Decatur Road and Church Street, citing unnamed sources.

It would be located in an area that’s exploding with development, including the Suburban Plaza retail center, which includes a Walmart. It’ll also be near the Decatur Crossing development at Scott Boulevard and North Decatur Road, which will reportedly be home to another grocery store, Sprouts Farmers Market.

Earlier on Friday, the Biz Chron that Whole Foods was looking to bring its “more affordable 365 store concept” to the Decatur area as well.
