The AMC series “Halt and Catch Fire” will be filming at Decatur’s Kimball House restaurant on Monday, April 18, according to Decatur Community Outreach Coodinator¬†Shirley Baylis.

The show, set in the 1980’s, and “dramatizes the personal computing boom through the eyes of a visionary, an engineer and a prodigy whose innovations directly confront the corporate behemoths of the time,” according to Internet Movie Database.

There won’t be any lane closures but crews will be using the parking spaces on the south side of the E. Howard Avenue¬†between Barry Street and E. Howard Place, Baylis said.
