Sublime Doughnuts has opened its second location on Briarcliff Road, and the store will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

“The new location signifies the beginning of Sublime Brands’ growth into neighborhoods all around Atlanta,” a press release from the company says.

The store’s address is 2566 Briarcliff Road NE. The store was founded by Kamal Grant and opened in West Midtown in 2008. The company offers more than 30 kinds of yeast doughnuts, as well as, “ice cream, ice cream burgers, nitrogen-infused gourmet cold brew coffee and a café au lait line called Cloud Coffees.”

“The Druid Hills shop will feature the same menu as West Midtown, including favorites such as the A-Town Cream and Orange Dream Star doughnuts, along with a larger selection of freshly made ice creams and coffee offerings,” the press release says.

The store is 1,384 square feet, has 12 seats and a gelato case imported from Italy, the press release says.

“A neon sign of Sublime’s logo – a 16-foot doughnut with wings – is displayed inside the dining room,” the press release says. “Even the bathroom, where guests will feel like they are on a desert island looking out into the ocean, provides an escape from the daily grind.”

The company is also considering expanding to Buckhead, Midtown and Dunwoody.

Editor’s note: Several readers have noted that the location is not actually in Druid Hills. A public relations representative for the company insists it is in Druid Hills and says the company has worked with the Druid Hills Neighborhood Association. There’s been no widespread agreement on where the new Sublime Doughnuts is located, exactly, but it is definitely Decaturish.
